The European Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology (ESPO) aims to promote the quality of care of children with otorhinolaryngologic disorders within Europe.
ESPO was founded in 1994 and succeeded the European Working Group in Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology (EWGPO).
ESPO is a non-profit organisation, exclusively involved in scientific, educational and charitable activities.
Our core purpose in ESPO is to provide education, support and advocacy for children with ORL conditions and the professionals who look after them
What we do:
- We organize congresses and educational events to promote excellence in pediatic ORL
- We promote friendship and collegiality among pediatric ORLs throughout the world by sharing expertise across national and political boundaries
- We contribute to national and international associations to support guidelines for best practice in pediatric ORL
- We encourage training programmes, fellowships and scholarships to nurture the next generation of pediatric ORLs
- We provide a forum for advice to members on clinical and professional issues
- We encourage, support and provide a forum for research and scholarship in pediatric ORL
